About Freedom Australia

 

Who are we?

The Earth Society Freedom Network is dedicated to the promotion of the idea of innate Natural Rights which stem from our nature, our reasoning ability, & the long term best interests of all individuals.

Freedom Australia is the Australian branch of the Earth Society Freedom Network. Currently we are based out of Hobart, Tasmania where we promote Natural Law and its corollary, Natural Human Rights. This group exists for Australian citizens to educate each other and share information on these and other closely related topics and to demonstrate support for the innate Natural Human Rights.

What are the basic Natural Rights of individuals?

Natural Human Rights originate from our ability to reason out the long term best interests of all individuals in a civil society. The primary three and the reasoning are as follows:

1. The right to your life [freedom from the initiation of force against your person]

Reasoning: Individuals who have a constant concern for their physical well being due to external threats of violence will utilize a large proportion of their labor and resources to secure themselves against those threats. Not only does this reduce the wealth the individual could be earning, but it also reduces the potential product(s) available to society as a whole.

2. The right to the products of your labor [freedom from enslavement]

Reasoning: This right stems from the first right, the right to your life. When an individuals labor is taken, said individual must become submissive to the will of the thief or suffer the initiation of force against them. Consequently, the enslaved no longer have an incentive to apply their creative abilities toward their labors, often applying them instead for destructive means. Hence, the individual and society as a whole both lose the long term benefit of the creative endeavors of individuals.

3. The right to your private property, including your own body [freedom from theft]

Reasoning: This right stems from the first and second right. If any individual or group can claim access or control over others private property, then all individuals will lack the incentive to invest their labor and resources to develop their property. Without such incentive development of property suffers and consequently productivity suffers. The individual and society as a whole lose the long term benefits of such property development and productivity enhancements.

More Detail Of Our Beliefs and Motivations

Currently we all live in a society wherein many people (a majority? nobody knows) appear to accept the idea that an elected minority of people can hire/appoint other people to use force against certain minorities – which just happen to be, by far and away predominantly the poor.

This destructive and ruinous behavior occurs for many reasons, but we believe it continues with forward momentum because this issue is not an issue. That is to say, The concepts of Natural Law and Natural Human Rights do not often breach the walls of the mainstream media, which is owned and controlled by very wealthy individuals who profit from this system.

To change this paradigm we are asking people to stand up and assist us with the transmission of the ideals of Natural Law and their corollary Natural Human Rights. When individuals gain an understanding that real Rights originate from individual freedom to create, succeed and fail, then we will be able to see clearly and make informed choices in society.
